Tavon “Carter Boy,” Carter, The CEO & audio guru, whose journey from adversity to success is nothing short of inspiring. Born on September 29, 1995, in San Pablo, California & raised in Fairfield, California, Carter is the youngest of four brothers. Born with amniotic band syndrome, he faced challenges from the start but rather than let his condition define him, Carter learned to adapt & prove to himself that nothing could hold him back.
Carter discovered his love for music at just 11 years old, diving into FL Studio and Reason software to create tracks that reflected his vibrant soul. After graduating from Fairfield High School in 2013 and Ex’pression College for Digital Arts in 2017, he teamed up with talented friends David Cruz, Benet, Pher The Legend, and Jake Zimma to form The Whoadees, an Oakland-based artist collective. Together, they co-founded "The Whoa," a creative haven where magic happens.
Early in his career, Carter was known for his generosity, selling beats for just $20 and handing out USB drives to fellow students, eager to share his passion. Today, he collaborates with renowned artists and continues to rise, fueled by his desire to inspire others and make a positive impact. With his infectious energy and unwavering dedication, Carter Boy is not just an audio guru, he's a beacon of inspiration, lighting the way for those who dare to dream.
